She first hit the modeling scene as a runner-up on the 2008 show Make Me a Supermodel.

And eight years later, Shanina Shaik continues to make her mark in the fashion world and her growing list of feats recently earned her a place in Marie Claire Australia's Rising Stars issue.

The 25-year-old Victoria's Secret model appears in the fashion publication's August issue along with Hollywood star Ruby Rose and actress Elizabeth Debicki.

Sporting a strapless blue balloon gown and her diamond engagement ring from DJ Ruckus, a barefoot Shanina is pictured on the triple cover for the special issue - which is on sale Thursday 7th July, 2016.

With minimal makeup and her brunette locks worn loosely, the Melbourne-born beauty looks demure and effortlessly chic.

In a separate snap, the IMG model oozes confidence while striking a pose in an all white off-the-shoulder.

With one hand delicately placed on her collarbone and the other on her waist, the hazel green-eyed stunner looks glamorous while gazing directly at the camera lens.

In recent years, Shanina has appeared in countless modelling campaigns and has walked on international runways for the likes of Oscar de la Renta and Vivienne Westwood, among others.

Her big break came after she appeared on the Australian version of Make Me A Supermodel and while at the time, she was disappointed after finishing as a runner-up, it would later pay off.

'I was upset but my mum said, 'It's great you didn't win! The runners-up always do better after these competitions.' I actually ended up going to New York before the winner did…,' she previously told Emirates Woman.

The statuesque model, who was born to a Lithuanian mother and Saudi-Pakistani father, decided to pursue modeling abroad at age 17 after struggling to book jobs in Australia due to her ethnic appearance.

'When I was 15, it was hard for me to get jobs because clients wanted an Australian look; Caucasian, blonde… I wasn't that,' she said.

'So to prove myself in Australia I had to go to New York first. But things are definitely changing. Everyone is a mixture nowadays. And I'm glad to be a representation of what the new world is – multi-cultural and mixed. I'm proud of that.'

On Monday, Shanina wowed a crowd at Paris Fashion Week while closing a runway show for Ralph & Russo.

The model donned bridal couture and she called the experience 'good practice' for her upcoming wedding to Ruckus, otherwise known as Greg Andrews.
